I have been doing lots and lots of
DIY lately. I always wondered what I wanted out of my idea of "perfect" decor and realized that I want bright pop's of color, organic creations, unique pieces and mostly simplicity. I literally came to this sudden realization like two weeks ago and its blowing my mind. Before two weeks ago, I was all for rustic and elegant...so deep warm colors with rustic fusion. Now I want light and bright colors with rustic fusion still. I think the sun came out and is messing with my head lol. Another thing, I started {potting my seeds for gardening}. I have never gardened before so I am so excited about it! I have been wanting pots for herbs in my kitchen and thought that I should get basic pots, like the ones used, and spruce them up a bit with fun paint. Enjoy and sure do come back for more!

Step 1: Gather your materials. You will need:
- 3 pots (Walmart $.78 each)
- 2-3 paints of your choice
- Tape
- Paint Brush
- Old jar full of H2O
- Cardboard or scrap paper as surface
Step 2: Start painting the rim of Pot #1 and Pot #2 with different colors of paint...no tape needed
Step 3: Use tape to create divisions on rim. Paint between divisions, let air dry. Flip pot over, and paint the entirety of base.
Step 4: Let air dry, and enjoy your creations! Plant some herbs for some wonderful spring dishes!
